Poetry 'n Prose

On The Dancefloor

I saw her face

in a quickening pulse

a change of mood, and music,

mind spins

dazzled by the lights

the roughened body

insatiable with alcohol.

my every move

to have your skin under my hand

and your laughter in my head

and your wink greeting me

across the room.

from the unswerving

heart filled with loyalty

to the impossibility that

beside me everywhere I go

you are there…

A dialectical site of poetry, painting and the odd musical excursion into the unknown.
