Poetry 'n Prose

In My Wardrobe

In my wardrobe

there are five linen shirts, two suits

three pairs of jeans

and a sweater on the metal rail

that is my wardrobe

Last year I threw out

all my spare hangers

having no intention

of acquiring more items of fashion

But my sweater is soft

wearing it now, missing you

standing here believing

what you said last night

knowing this craving

for you is less woolly.

A dialectical site of poetry, painting and the odd musical excursion into the unknown.
