Poetry 'n Prose

Nursing Times

I see a mirror on the wall
I see a tear upon you cheek
You’re feeling beyond it all
You’re feeling you’re about to fall
I see a look upon your face
You thought that no one loves you
You believed you were untouchable, no one wants you.

I see a room where no one goes
That place where you keep you your heart carefully hidden
There are secrets no one knows
I see you dance when you think no one is watching you
I hear you sing and life comes ringing through
I see you commanding the moments that
Brightens the next

You know some day the key with turn
And these locks break open
You know everything comes in time
Like a bud upon a tree about to open
You know everyone will have their day
Just one step at a time and you’ll be well on your way.
You know I’m there for you.

A dialectical site of poetry, painting and the odd musical excursion into the unknown.
