At first I did not see you against
the low sun lighting your pale look
between two uncut fields
the sky neither blue or red
I did not know your pale,
breathless face, becoming light;
I forgot to write down every word
or draw close your smile
I was not in touch with the light
drawing you uphill, that beauty
into the slow falling sun, yet I held
this uncut sky in my hands
And now I see, written down
in this high field, the story
of belonging, you and me
and how we tried to smile.
this is breathtaking

explains the emotion that comes through loud and clear…even in the digital void that is the internet.
