Loneliness is mixed
in the pallet of life
the waiting for tonality
of colour and hue
I don’t try to hide it
painting in oils
of red, violet or blue
all that’s missing is you.

This one could be sung … ever thought of adding the vocal chords to your sublime music?
Thanks Roger yes I have been thinking more recently around lyrics for some pieces. I don’t know about you but I find it is hard to know sometimes where poetry and song-writing departs one another. Take your last album “Watch the World” for instance, each song has song structure but there’s great stanzas of poetry… that’s a gift mate :)
Thanks .. all totally accidental …. I write by singing the song over and over again, and the lyrics, melody and music and melody gradually ‘work themselves in’ so to speak, over a period of days. So it’s very much a ‘doing thing’. Close the eyes and keep singing and and it all works out in the wash. I’ve thought about it, and that intuitive process is very compatible with chaos theory, that being, keep chaos churning for long enough and it will form an order of its own.
