On Reflection

There’s a feather on parole
from my pillow

rests on my dark red jersey
sleeve just

as lightly as I must rest
on those things

I love and honour, how it’s noticed
to the near end

of each breath. I too am a feather
fibrillating, dazed

I sing through severance
still amazed

A dialectical site of poetry, painting and the odd musical excursion into the unknown.

A prayer to gentleness, in body and spirit, perhaps. I’ve always thought our true nature has many languages, brought together it creates a wonderful dialogue, and your blog is testament to this. x

Many blessings to you
