Flickering Flame

In the peaceful night
No-thing disturbs this flame,

but unplaced voices calling
Words from an unknown

Language in my own head
Unknowable, I understand

“Light a candle”, she says,
On this your table,

“Dance with me” she says,
Over this your sorrow,

“Make love to me” she says.
Before this your grave,

“Stay with me” she says,
Beyond this your destiny.

A dialectical site of poetry, painting and the odd musical excursion into the unknown.

The flame (or a beacon of light) represent so many things to so many folk. For me it is looking for potential, or a light within. The flame burns in my solar plexus.
